Privacy notice

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Who we are

Spedball Ltd, trading as Spedball Sports, is the controller of the personal information covered by this notice. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 08438934. Our registered office is 111 Peel House, 30 The Downs, Altrincham, WA14 2PX. Contact akmjama@spedball.com about registration or privacy.

Information we collect

Our registration form asks for your first name, surname, email, date of birth, town or city, session interests, confirmation that you are 18 or over, privacy consent and optional email-news consent. We also receive information you choose to include in emails. Website and email systems process technical information such as IP address, browser details, submission time and delivery records to operate and protect the service.

Registration is for adults aged 18 and over. Please do not include health information, identification documents or payment details in this form.

Why we use your information

  • With your consent, to record your interest, check the adult age requirement, arrange sessions and venue trials, and send relevant booking, eligibility and safety information.
  • With your separate, optional consent, to send occasional Spedball news and event dates. Leaving the Updates box unticked does not affect registration.
  • For our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, preventing spam, responding to enquiries and keeping delivery records.
  • Where necessary, to meet legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Providing registration information is voluntary, but we cannot process a registration without the required fields. Registering an interest does not reserve a place or count as agreeing to any participation terms. Booking and participation arrangements are separate.

Consent and your choices

You can withdraw registration or marketing consent at any time by emailing akmjama@spedball.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. You can stop news emails without withdrawing your session interest. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.

Who receives your information

Authorised people administering Spedball registrations can access your details. Bluehost provides website hosting; our email service provider processes messages and notifications; and technical service providers may process information needed to run, back up and secure these systems. We do not sell registration details. If a partner venue needs your information for a booking, we will explain what is needed before sharing it. We may disclose relevant records where legally required or necessary for a legal or insurance claim.

Storage and international processing

Form entries are stored on the Bluehost-hosted website and relevant notifications are sent to akmjama@spedball.com. Hosting, email, support and backup providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Bluehost/Newfold publishes its Data Processing Addendum, which describes its processing and contractual transfer arrangements. Where UK transfer rules apply, an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards are required. Contact us for information about the arrangements applicable to your data and how to obtain a copy of relevant safeguards.

How long we keep information

We keep registration and enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with the requested session, booking or enquiry and related follow-up. We review whether it is still needed and delete or anonymise it when that purpose ends or consent is withdrawn, unless a legal obligation, unresolved complaint or legal or insurance claim requires continued retention. Optional news-subscription details are kept until you withdraw consent or the mailing list is discontinued. A minimal suppression record may be retained to honour an unsubscribe request. Deleted information may remain in protected backups until those backups are replaced through the backup cycle.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or a portable copy of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. Email akmjama@spedball.com. We normally respond within one month, subject to any extension permitted by law, and may need to verify your identity.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or telephone 0303 123 1113.

Cookies, spam protection and other websites

The registration form uses built-in honeypot and token-based spam protection. Necessary cookies or similar technology may support website functions, security and administrator sign-in. YouTube and TikTok links take you to separate services governed by their own privacy and cookie policies. This form does not enrol you in advertising or send news unless you select the optional Updates box.

Photos and filming

Registering for a session does not give permission to use identifiable photos or video of you for promotion. If promotional photography or filming is planned, we will explain the intended use, including any YouTube or TikTok publication, and ask for a separate choice before recording you for that purpose. You can decline promotional filming without withdrawing your registration. Tell us at akmjama@spedball.com or tell the organiser before the session if you do not want to be filmed. If you later withdraw consent, contact us so we can discuss removal from channels we control; we may not be able to remove copies already shared by others.

Changes and contact

We will update this notice if our use of registration information changes. The latest version is available on this page. Questions, consent withdrawals and rights requests should be sent to akmjama@spedball.com.
